Each applicant must be at least 18 years of age
Provide copy of High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent
No felony convictions.
Pass background check.
Complete an Enrollment Registration Form
Pay nonrefundable Registration Fee
Negative TB test or chest x-ray with a negative result within 12 months of application.
Hepatitis B vaccinations or evidence that you have declined the vaccination series.
Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination due to medical contraindication or religious objection.
Demonstrate and/or attest to ability to perform the following:
Communicate verbally.
Lift, carry, and balance 75 lbs independently.
Bend, squat, and crawl on even and uneven terrain.
Provide current Michigan EMT Basic or EMT Intermediate license.
Advanced Placement, Transferring Hours and Experiential Learning
The MidMichigan Medical Center EMS Paramedic program does not accept Advanced Placement, Transferring of Hours, or Experiential Learning for credit and/or placement into the Paramedic program, or any other EMS program offered.
